Ingredents: 3 tbsp warm water 3 tbsp cocoa 300 ml yoghurt 2 eggs 125 gm grated jaggery 125 gm chopped nuts 150 gm raisins 200 gm flour 2 tsp baking powder Pear topping? kg chopped pears 1 strip of sweet lime rind 2 tsp butter 4 tbsp sugar chopped chocolate
Method: Mix water and cocoa. Stir in yoghurt, followed by the remaining ingredients for the loaf. Blend until smooth. Pour the mixture into a greased loaf tin. Bake at 180 degrees C for 40 minutes. To make the pear topping, cook pears in a little butter along with the rind until soft and pulpy. Sweeten with sugar and continue cooking until thick. Cool and spread over the loaf. Garnish with chopped chocolate.
