Today's Recipe - Continental Apple Cake

Contains Egg: No

Ingredents: 150 gm flour 2 tsp baking powder 50 gm chilled diced butter 150 gm castor sugar 2 eggs 100 ml milk Topping3 apples- peeled, cored and sliced 2 tbsp castor sugar 1 tsp cinnamon powder

Method: Sieve flour and Baking powder together. Rub in the butter. Add the sugar, mix in the eggs and milk and Beat to form a smooth batter. Turn into a prepared cake tin. Arrange the apple slices on top of the mixture. Dust with sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 190 degrees centigrade until golden in colour. Cool before serving.
